Tandem Collective (the clever folk behind Tandem Festival) are partnering with local mental health charity Restore to create an ethical extravaganza of acoustic music, hands-on workshops, inspiring talks and local, gourmet food and drink, at their hidden garden oasis on the Cowley Road.

Full price: £15  / £12.50 concessions*.

On the door: £17.50 / £14 concessions*

Children under 12 years FREE (donations encouraged! Booking still necessary).

All profits go towards Restore

*Concessions are for people who are low or unwaged, students, senior citizens, and any beneficiary of the Oxfordshire Mental Health Partnership. We will not ask for proof, and operate on a trust basis.

 

FAQs

Can I bring in my own alcohol?

Alcohol cannot be brought on site. There will be a bar serving a selection of drinks.

Can I bring my own shelter?

As the garden is small we would encourage not to bring your own shelter. There will be plenty of indoor space but we recommend you bringing suncream, water bottles, jumpers or rain coats dependent on weather.

Can I bring my baby?

Babies are welcome on site but are brought to the festival at the risk of the parent(s) and must be supervised at all times.

Are there any activities for children?

There will be lots of fun activities aimed at children!

What is the time of arrival and departure?

Doors open at 3pm The event ends at midnight. Everyone will need to be off the site by 0.15am on Sunday 19th June to ensure Restore is clean and ready for business as usual on the Sunday morning. We would be so grateful if you can do all you can to help facilitate this, such as taking all rubbish away with you and leaving the site as tidy as possible.

How can I get to the festival?

The postcode for the festival site is OX4 1YH.

You can reach the festival site by bike, car or taxi.

If arriving by bike, you will need a high vis jacket and lights at all times.

If arriving by car, unfortunately we cannot provide any parking space unless agreed in written before hand. If you require disabled parking please contact us before hand:info@tandemfestival.com

Do I need to bring ID?

Yes, you will need ID to buy alcohol.

What sort of food will be available?

All food will be vegetarian, much will be vegan and gluten free. Unfortunately, we cannot cater specifically for nut allergies or other allergies. Please contact us in advance if you are volunteering with us and have food allergies.

Can I bring my own food?

Profits from food sales go directly to Restore’s charitable work, and will be provided by the fantastic Smoke and Thyme and Garden Café – so we greatly encourage you to buy food onsite. However, you are welcome to bring your own food if necessary (e.g. for babies and young children, or severe allergies). Please note that campfires or naked flames of any kind will not be allowed.

Can I park?

We cannot provide any parking space. Please contact us in advance if you need special disabled parking: info@tandemfestival.com

Can I cycle?

We are advising cycling as the best form of transport to reach the festival site. Restore is situated just off the busy Cowley road, we strongly encourage the use of high vis clothing, helmet, lights and you will need to take care when cycling on this road. There will be a small amount of bike park on site (please bring your own lock). We cannot be held liable for any bicycle theft.

Will there be cash points on site?

There will be no cashpoints, please bring enough cash for the day.

Can I bring my own instruments?

Yes you are welcome to bring your own instruments. There will be opportunities for you play!

Can I bring my own sound system?

No sound systems are allowed on site.

Can I smoke on site?

Restore’s garden is essential to the running of the charity. Smoking will only be permitted in designated areas and we ask that all smoking is kept strictly to these areas. You will be asked to move if smoking outside of these areas.

Is there disabled access?

What facilities will be available on site?

There will be drinking water and loos on site.
